International Shipping Update!

This update is for those who have inquiries about shipping the physical game to countries others than those already specified in the campaign. First of all, I am happy to ship the game to ANY country if the backer is okay with paying the shipping! You have two options with this:

•If you aren't sure you will want to pay the shipping, you can back the project at the digital pledge level and then once it's time to organize shipping I can check the rate and tell you, and you can add that + the difference for the hardcover pledge to your pledge and I'll ship it, or you can just stick with the digital pledge and receive the PDF of the game.

•If you're sure you want to pay the shipping, you can back the project at one of the physical levels. When it's time to organize shipping I'll tell you your shipping rate and collect it in Backerkit just like the other shipping costs. 

A big issue with shipping these days is finding information that matches up between what the USPS site tells me and what the actual humans at the post office tell me. On my last Kickstarter, the shipping turned out to be double what the USPS site told me, but luckily the resulting amount was not insurmountable. With this hardcover book there could be some nasty shipping surprises, however, which is why I don't want to toss out estimates without really checking the answers.

The book dimensions will be 6x9 and I've been using the Blades in the Dark book as a reference for my shipping questions, because it won't be thicker than that. Here is some location-specific shipping info I have for people who asked for these locations:

•Shipping to Australia seems like a real (expensive) mystery. The USPS site told me the cheapest rate was around $42 but the human I spoke with today said the cheapest price was around $70 and they didn't understand why there wasn't a cheaper first class option. However if I was going to ship your book to Australia today, they would charge $70 for shipping.

•Shipping to Mexico is estimated around $22. 

•Shipping to Italy is estimated around $28. 

These are just estimates, and the book won't ship until February 2022 so who can say how the rates will change by then.
